Reagan Egler is a Content Specialist at Fast Hippo Media, working in social media and short-form video for clients across industries. She takes projects from the first concept through filming, scheduling, and delivery, which makes her one of the few people at the agency involved at every stage of a piece of content. She is also finishing a marketing degree at the University of North Texas, which means she is studying what the field is supposed to do while spending her days finding out what it actually does.

She handles social media and short-form video for clients across industries, from the first concept through filming to putting the strategy into practice. She also runs the publishing side: scheduling posts and making sure each client’s content goes out the way it was meant to, on the right platform, at the right time. That part is invisible when it works and very visible when it does not.

About Reagan Egler

Reagan is doing two things at once that most people do ten years apart. In class she is learning where marketing is going. At work she is on live client accounts finding out which parts of that survive contact with a real audience, a real budget, and a platform that changed its algorithm last Tuesday.

The combination is worth more than either half. Coursework alone produces people who know the theory and have never had a post underperform. Experience alone produces people who repeat what worked in 2019. Reagan gets the new thinking and the reality check in the same week.

What she brings to the work itself is a feel for turning an idea into something worth stopping for. A brand arrives with what it wants to say, and the job is finding the version of that a real person would actually watch. She fell in love with marketing in college for exactly that reason: not just knowing a piece of content worked, but knowing what made it work well enough to do it again.

Life Outside Fast Hippo

Fifteen national parks. That is not a number anyone reaches by accident, and it says most of what needs saying about how Reagan spends a free weekend.

The rest of it is smaller and closer to home. Friends and family, a book when there is room for one, the occasional craft that may or may not get finished. The common thread is being outside, which she manages whenever she can.
